One of my friends told me not too long ago, that he doesn’t know what to do with his spare time when he gets home from work. That he’s actually bored…
I flipped out… Say what?
If you are anything like me, you wish you had more hours in the day, I do, at least. Managing client work, drawing icons and maintaining a household isn’t easy and consumes a lot (A LOT!) of time.
For a while now, I’m also focused on living healthier. I buy my veggies at the farmers market and cook all my meals at home. On top of that, I should be active (at least take walks) and take time to relax (who have time for that, jeez!).
With my busy schedule, self education is the challenge, meanwhile, I know how important it is to stay on top of the game and I’m sure you are too. I would not call myself a designer if I couldn’t solve this problem. And if you have a problem, somebody surely wrote a book about it 😉
This is how I’ve discovered the magic artifact that literary doubles your time. Yes, you’ve got that right, it DOUBLES time! It’s like a time machine that allows you to travel through time but it doubles it instead. Get it?!
What that could be? – you wonder – A drug? A magic potion? A unicorn???
A delusion, a sign that overworked, stressed out, designer chick finally lost it. No need to worry, I’m fine, thank you 😉 It’s called an audiobook, dummy! Tada! You’re welcome! ;)
You can listen to it while:
I bet you can double at least 3 or 4 hours of your time, a day!
With that said, this is the start of my audio book club, which hopefully will be a trigger to having a nice discussion. So, If you’ve listened to the interesting book lately, please share your thoughts in the comments section.
I will be posting my short reviews in the upcoming posts.
To give you something to think about for the time being, here are my five recent audiobooks:
