I’ve decided to up my game as an Illustrator and do some online courses and tutorials. It is crazy how much teaching materials you can find these days for free (youtube) or for a really affordable price (i.e skillshare), but you still need to know your way around to find true gems.
Therefore, I’ve prepared a list of my top Skillshare classes for illustrators that I really enjoyed and find super useful. A definite must-watch for every aspiring artist.

This is an absolute must! The Power of Color lesson is hands down the best, it basically helped me figure out color palettes in illustrator, I mean I still suck at color 😉 but now I have the tools to get better at it and this is priceless.
I always felt that if you want to make something unique and memorable, you need to get your hands dirty aka the old school. And it’s all this class is about, you’ll learn how to make your own retro textures and implement them into your illustrations. Great material.
I’ve discovered Lisa Glanz about a month ago from Honest Designers podcast that I’m currently binge listening, and She’s already my hero. She is madly talented and hardworking illustrator, she is also funny as hell (just listen to the podcast :-)). No surprise her class about converting your analog pencil drawings into the digital piece of art is brilliant! The only risk your facing is that from now, you won’t be able to do anything but adorable animals 😉
Even if you’re not striving to be an expert in lettering I highly recommend to do this class too. Jessica is not only a talented letterer and illustrator, but she also kicks ass as a designer and entrepreneur. Her work is amazing and she has massive design experience, and It’s always the best to learn from the pros. I highly recommend taking her class.
